Coach Tyler is thrilled to return for his third year with the Spindletop Barracudas! With over 18 years of coaching experience, he has led teams like the Mt. Sterling Gators, Copperfield Crocodiles, Winchester Sailfish, and George Rogers Clark High School, while also serving as a dedicated swim coach at Bryan Station High School for the past 11 years. A proud Transylvania University graduate where he majored in exercise science. Tyler swam competitively there, setting team records and fueling a lifelong passion for the sport. Beyond the pool, he is a level 2 CrossFit coach who brings a love for fitness and sports to every practice, inspiring swimmers to reach their full potential. Go CUDAS!
This is Camden’s fourth year as an assistant swim coach with the Cudas. He has also been a coach at the Georgetown Scott County Sharks swim team for four years as well coaching most of the younger kids. His favorite hobby is Disc Golf, he plays on the University of Kentucky's club team and has competed at nationals the past 3 years, and has traveled to many different states to compete at regional events. Camden is working on becoming a math and science middle level education major, he ideally would want to teach geometry. Some of his other interests are ceramics, metal working, and getting outside to enjoy good weather.
Kyndal competed in gymnastics, dance, and swimming in North Carolina. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Marketing and Management, and is working on her Masters degree in Marketing. She began diving in 2016 with coach Ted Hautau and has made the SEC Academic Honor Roll the past 4 years. In February 2020, Kyndal won a gold a medal at the SEC Championships and qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympic Diving Trials. In 2021, she earned a bronze medal at the SEC Championships, and competed in the 2021 Winter Nationals placing 4th on 3-meter springboard and 5th on 1-meter springboard. She got 2 bronze medals at the 2022 SEC Championships, and a silver medal in the 2023 SEC Championships. Kyndal qualified for the 2024 Olympic trials and finished 3rd in synchro mixed diving and 8th individually. Kyndal is a member of the USA Diving Tier Team and competes for the USA. Julia Vincent is a three- time Olympic diver for South Africa. She moved to the US in 2014 to attend the University of South Carolina where she earned her Bachelors and Master's degrees. In 2021, she moved to Kentucky where she now coaches the competitive team for Kentucky Dive Club while continuing to pursue her career. She has competed at the highest level in sports and has been coaching athletes of all ages and levels for 14+ years. Julia adores working with children and is passionate about helping each child to reach their fullest potential in the sport of diving. She is ecstatic about coaching this year at Spindletop!
Tyler Bobadilla is excited to coach this summer dive team! Tyler began his diving career through summer league diving at SpindleTop, which sparked a passion for the sport. Since then, he has become a two-time USA Diving Nationals qualifier and a two-time CKSD Conference Champion. Committed to continuing their athletic and academic journey, he will be diving for the University of Kentucky while pursuing a degree in either finance or kinesiology. Tyler is eager to give back to the program that started it all and help young athletes grow their skills and confidence on the diving board.
