I hope everyone is getting excited for Conference! A few reminders:

Monday is 10 & Under Prelims, all 10&U swimmers will compete this day. Tuesday is 11 & Over Prelims, all 11&O swimmers will compete this day. Wednesday is Finals, all swimmers who qualify in the top 16 of their age group will compete this day. Most ALL RELAY SWIMMERS will return to compete this day because each team is only allowed 1 relay per age group. If your child placed 17th or 18th in their age group in any event, they are an alternate and will need to be at the finals meet day. The results for each day will be posted throughout the meet and the coaches will send out a notification on SwimTopia for all swimmers that need to return to compete on this day. This day is super fun and anyone who can should come to cheer on the team!

Each day 

Swimmers should arrive at 6:45am

Coach Asha will have a special surprise on Wednesday before warmups for all of the athletes competing in finals! 

Warm Ups will begin at 7:00am

All swimmers need to come to warmups. Coaches will take attendance after warmups. If your child is not there, they will assume they are not coming. If your child is on a relay and doesn’t show up to warmups, someone else will take their place on the relay.

The Swim Meet will begin at 9:15am

Conference is a very long meet. It is important that your child packs everything they will need for the day. Our team area will be under a tent on the lawn, so it is a good idea to pack chairs and blankets/towels to sit on. Your child will also want a change of clothes to wear between races and stay warm like a sweatshirt and sweatpants. They will also need something to occupy them during the day and make the time between races pass by (card games, coloring books, electronics, etc.).

The Swim Meet will End at roughly 3:00pm Monday, 2:00pm Tuesday, and 3:00pm Wednesday

The Heat Sheets have been posted on the Conference website, so I have attached them to this email. Note that there is a different Heat Sheet for Monday's 10&U Prelims and a Heat Sheet for Tuesday's 11&O Prelims. The Wednesday Finals Heat Sheet will not be released until Tuesday evening.

I have attached the Volunteer List to this email. All families with a child swimming or diving in conference must work. We ask that you volunteer in some capacity each day you have a child participating in conference. As hosts of this meet for every team in our conference, there are many jobs to be done, and we need lots of help! 50% off of the victory party dinner will be given to each conference worker. THERE ARE MANY JOBS THAT STILL NEED TO BE FILLED, PLEASE SIGN UP TO HELP, WE CANNOT RUN THIS MEET WITHOUT PARENT VOLUNTEERS. To sign up for Conference jobs. go here.

All conference food donations need to be turned in at the snack table under the team tent before the start of warmups on the day you signed up for. Make sure you signed up for the right day that your child will be there.
