11&Os Qualifying for Wednesday Finals
I am so proud of all our swimmers for another awesome day today and can’t wait for tomorrow! I still haven’t received the full results from the Conference, but I wanted to go ahead and get these names out for everyone who needs to come tomorrow. I will send the full results from this morning as soon as I get them. Don’t forget, tomorrow I have a special surprise before warmups for all of the swimmers competing in finals so make sure you get there at 6:45am! One other note, we have plenty of items leftover from Monday and Tuesday for the snack table so if you signed up to bring something tomorrow you don’t need to bring it anymore.

CUDAS! The 11 & over prelim session has been completed which means it is time for FINALS! We had lots of fast swims, and many make it back to compete again tomorrow! Congratulations to everyone! All the coaches are extremely proud of how everyone has done so far, but it is not over yet!!!
Heading into tomorrow’s session please remember: It is an honor to be a part of Spindletop Swim and Dive. We appreciate all the cheering everyone has been doing and plan to do even more tomorrow throughout the whole session. Let’s make sure we are illustrating the BEST sportsmanship to our swimmers and the other teams around us. Be kind and be smart with what you are saying!
All swimmers who qualify in the top 16 of their age group will compete this day. ALL RELAY SWIMMERS will return to compete this day. If your child placed 17th or 18th in their age group in any event, they are an alternate and will need to be at the finals meet day. If you have any questions about if your swimmer made it back, check this post for 11&O and yesterdays for 10&U results.
Tomorrow, swimmers should arrive at 6:45 am. Warmups are at 7:00 am. Coaches will take attendance after warmups, so if your child is not there, they will assume they are not coming. The meet will begin at 9:15 am. If your swimmer did not make it back to swim, we encourage them to still attend the meet! There will be team cheers beginning around 8:30 am, rewards, and fun events like a coach’s relay and the victory party at the end of the meet! It is a great experience, and we really encourage all swimmers to still come!
