Hey Cuda Family!

We have our first meet with another team tomorrow! This will not allow us the flexibility we had for the last meet, so everyone must be on time, and we need parents to volunteer to work as soon as you get there.

Divers who are legal to compete in meets include:

8 & unders: must do a front dive, plus at least one other dive (three is the max, but can fail one).

9-10: must do a front dive and back dive, plus at least one other dive (four is the max, but can fail one).

11 and older: must do a front dive and back dive, plus at least two other dives (five is the max, but can fail one).

If a diver meets these criteria and will be in the meet tomorrow but not able to be at practice today, then please email me their dive list (including the position of each dive) by 6pm today. [email protected]

Tomorrow’s theme is “Heroes and Villains”. All the divers need to dress up, and I’m sure that any costume you all already have at home can be interpreted as a Hero or Villain. There will be a prize for best costume!!

Dive Times:

12:45pm: Divers arrive at the Spindletop dive well 

1:00pm: Divers in line for the check-in with the coaches, already in their suit and Heroes/Villains costume

1:20pm: Team Picture

1:25pm: Stretch

1:30pm: Warmup

2:00pm:  Georgetown warmup 

2:30pm: Meet

We will run both boards at the same time.

Parents are required to work at least one dive meet (not including conference) or will incur a fine at the end of the season. All the positions are actually pretty easy, and I can give a brief training for each position during the Georgetown
